Salary range $100-$110K full time position
Local candidate zip 33327 (20-50mile radius ideal) This is a Hybrid role (3 days office-2 days remote)

Business Analyst DBA
Job Duties:
- Maintenance, architecture, and development of database-driven solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies.
- Assist with the management of security for SQL Server databases.
- Optimization of internal databases.
- Maintain database documentation and database change management documentation, as required
- Ensure performance and availability of database systems and resources
- Monitor SQL backups and maintenance plans. Perform ad hoc restores
- SQL Server installation, including upgrades, apply patches and service packs
- Administer security access
- Assist with testing, diagnosis, and resolution of database issues
- Work with applications team to identify and remediate access and configuration issues
- Perform necessary administration of third-party applications connected directly or indirectly to the business application systems.
- Maintain (add/delete/edit), user profiles in business applications and third-party application systems as needed.
- Assists in I.T. projects as needed.
- Executes database maintenance where appropriate and makes recommendations to management.
- Assists in Disaster Preparedness and Recovery plan and implementation.
- Executes all needed maintenance where appropriate.
- Research content of future releases or patch upgrades and coordinate new job aides for business areas affected.
- Assist with business application upgrades and patches.
- Maintains and manages retention of data based on the data retention policy.
Qualifications:
- Learn and understand the technical environment and applications quickly and keep up to date on new methodologies, related to Integration.
- Ability to use change-control processes through the integration of business processes and system changes
- Familiarity with standard Microsoft Office applications
- Proven track record in technical problem resolution and systems integration desired
- Knowledge or exposure to relational databases and database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience as a database administrator in an SQL Server environment
- Thorough knowledge of SQL and database development/programming experience.
- Working knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016, 2019 versions are required.
- Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools
- General experience and know-how for troubleshooting potential database-related issues are required.
- Maintain database documentation and database change management documentation, as required
