Job description

The Humane Society of Western Montana is eager to hire an enthusiastic individual to join our PAWS crew. Pet Adoption & Welfare Specialists, (PAWS) are responsible for ensuring the pets and people we serve receive exceptional and enriching care. The duties of this position include providing daily pet care (enriching, cleaning, feeding, monitoring and medicating), match-making and performing pet adoptions, performing pet intake interviews and exams, placing special needs pets and, above all, practicing the humane treatment of all animals.
All candidates must have excellent communication skills and be customer service oriented.
Must be able to frequently walk, stoop, kneel and lift or move 50lbs.
Must have a flexible schedule and able to work holidays and weekends.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Pay Rate: Starts at $15.00/hour
Benefits : Full-time employees eligible for benefits (paid holidays, paid time off, vision/dental/life insurance).
