The Director of Real Estate Leasing is responsible for negotiation of Real Estate Leases and execution of Office Space related projects. This is a highly visible role which will interact with the senior most leaders within the company and has Worldwide Real Estate responsibilities. This role reports to the Vice President of Procurement.

 

• Successfully deliver all construction, renovation and space consolidation projects. Develop and communicate options across all projects.
• Manage the Real Estate Lease lifecycle including developing options, conducting negotiations and driving a robust decision-making process.

• Maintain budget discipline ensuring all aspects of cost are evaluated and managed.
• Effectively manage all Third Parties ensuring deadlines are met in a manner which is reflected in the cost and quality of the end product.
• Engage leadership and stakeholders in a timely and proactive manner to make informed decisions.
• Develop and manage a dashboard which gives us the ability to compare across projects.
• Leverage insights from dashboard and coordinate with all parties including PM, Brokers, vendors and OUs to drive continuous improvement.

Experience:
• Experience delivering large scale building renovation projects which require change management, communication with senior leadership and working with multiple third parties such as Architects, Engineers and Project Managers.
• Experience running a robust Procurement process for Real Estate partner selection including bid levelling, negotiations, business case development and contracting.
• Negotiating and executing Leases/contracts working with multiple stakeholders including Brokers, Lawyers and Landlords.
• Demonstrated proficiency in building and delivering business cases, presentations and managerial reports to senior management.
• Experience with market research and data analysis.
• Experience with Lease Administration system and tools.

• Independent, self-starter individual who can manage their own workload in addition to providing guidance and coaching to other team members.

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Finance preferred.
• 10-15 years of experience in the Corporate Real Estate Services function either as an advisor and/or line role operator.
• Advanced degree a plus.
• Real Estate experience in the Financial Services/Insurance sector a plus.

Salary Range - $131,328 to 218,880 (dependent on prior experience and location).
Must have received COVID-19 vaccination* defined as receiving either (1) two doses of a two-dose vaccine, or (2) a single-dose vaccine, either authorized for emergency use or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and a COVID vaccine booster*unless prohibited by law.
