Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the billing process for Medicare and other payors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor the status of billed and unbilled patients, effectively tracking and managing accounts receivable.
• Perform collection functions, including running aging reports, communicating with insurance companies and patients regarding outstanding balances, and updating management on account statuses.
• Identify and resolve billing issues, maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive financial operations and adherence to policies and procedures.

Minimum Education & Experience Required:

• Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in medical billing.
• Preferred experience in home health or hospice billing, with a strong understanding of Medicare billing processes.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
