Stateline Family YMCA is currently hiring a full-time Gymnastics Program Director for our Beloit Gymnastics Center. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and grow program to meet the needs of the community and fulfill YMCA objectives
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, and direct personnel and volunteers as needed. Review and evaluate staff performance
- Serve as coach within the gymnastics program
- Assist in the marketing and distribution of program information. May organize and schedule program registrations
- Monitor program budget to meet fiscal objectives; compile program statistics. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in programs
- Coordinate use of facilities for program activities and events
- Respond to all member and community inquiries and complaints in timely manner
- Work with facilities director to conduct and ensure proper maintenance of gymnastics facilities and equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one year prior experience managing a program and budget, including supervision of employees
- Prior experience coaching gymnastics required
- Experience with spotting gymnasts preferred
- Experience with choreographing gymnastics routines preferred
Skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of gymnastics skills to effectively guide gymnasts, or is willing to learn/be trained to acquire the knowledge
- Ability to maintain positive presence in the facility
