Our client, a leading company s currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who possesses a strong background in accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, as well as proficiency in SAP software.

Job Summary:

As a Accounts Receivable Specialist you will be responsible for supporting our finance department by performing daily accounting tasks that will support our financial operations. Your duties will include managing invoices, handling AR and AP responsibilities, and maintaining accurate financial records using SAP. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a strong foundation in accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts receivable and issue invoices to customers, ensuring timely payments and managing collections as needed.
• Handle accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, verifying transactions, reconciling invoices, and preparing payment batches.
• Maintain accurate financial records and data entry in SAP, ensuring the integrity of accounting information by verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Assist in month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing, document preparation, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Proficiency in SAP software is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
