Job description

Job Summary: Senior Helpers - South OC, a professional caregiving agency, is currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate caregiver to join our team in Tustin, California. This is a full-time position, providing essential care to seniors in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors, as well as a genuine passion for providing quality care. Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent care to seniors in their homes, assisting with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families, providing updates on care and addressing any concerns or requests.
• Follow care plans and document all services provided accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Ideal caregiver has a minimum of 1 year experience working with seniors, preferably in a home care setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training or certification in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions, while also being a team player.
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and assisting with mobility.
