Job description
Heavy Equipment Operator $22 to $28
The Operator will be responsible for operating equipment safely and efficiently on a daily basis . Equipment operations may include skid steer, small loader, large wheel loader, forklift, man-lift, dozer, and excavator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for feeding plant and loading trucks or stockpiling with large wheel loader, excavator, or dozer.
- Perform general housekeeping, fueling, and greasing of equipment, crushing plants, and conveyors.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine maintenance on equipment such as conveyor bearding changes and belt splices.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all site personnel and management.
- Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as required by company policies . , including MSHA
- Perform maintenance that may involve manual labor such as the use of shovels and fire hoses for clean up during plant down time.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires climbing, bending, stooping, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
Applicant must be at least 18 years old .
Ability to follow instructions .
