Job description

This position primarily responsible for the procurement of materials, goods, and services for the benefit of operations. Manage supplier base to ensure competitive pricing, and quality all while maximizing inventory turns and reducing the cost of procurement.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure materials and services meet customer requirements and comply with policies.
- Maintain Purchasing Department documentation to ISO standards.
- Contribute to company initiatives and drive continuous process improvements.
- Generate and present necessary reports for operational reviews.
- Issue RFQs to suppliers within agreed timelines and manage purchase orders efficiently, including status updates, on-time delivery, quality enforcement, and cost reduction.
- Coordinate quality issues and manage vendor returns as needed.
- Handle supplier documentation requests and provide support to Sales, Engineering, and Quality Departments regarding supplier capabilities.
- Develop and maintain vendor programs, ensuring adherence and fostering relationships.
- Oversee inventory management and procurement system, maintaining targeted inventory levels and fill rates.
- Assist in resolving supplier issues and discrepancies.
- Monitor and analyze inventory, procurement, and supplier performance metrics, implementing action plans for improvement.
- Expedite orders to meet delivery deadlines.
- Participate in Special Projects and process improvement teams as required.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $72,424k - 108,636k annually (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
