Due to professional advancement, Walthill Public School is seeking an elementary principal for the 2024-2025 school year.

Job Summary: The Elementary School Principal is responsible for providing effective leadership and administration of all aspects of an elementary school. This includes fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing staff, collaborating with parents and community members, and ensuring the overall success and well-being of students.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Administration:

   • Provide visionary leadership to create a positive and effective learning environment.
   • Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and programs.
   • Supervise and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
   • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

2. Curriculum and Instruction:

   • Oversee the development and implementation of the school curriculum.
   • Monitor instructional practices to ensure alignment with educational standards.
   • Support teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies.

3. Student Welfare:

   • Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive school climate.
   • Address disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
   • Collaborate with support staff to address the individual needs of students.

4. Community Engagement:

   • Build positive relationships with parents, guardians, and community members.
   • Facilitate communication between the school and the community.
   • Organize and participate in community events and outreach.
