Our client, a fast-growing family company, is seeking a highly skilled Civil Water Resource Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain client relationships with new and existing clients
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and meet organizational goals
- Conduct business development tasks, including identifying, selling, and delivering meaningful work for your team
- Oversee and manage projects that improve communities, including Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies, engineering analysis/design, I/I programs, and real-time monitoring
- Develop and review project proposals and scopes of work to meet clients' schedule and budget
- Manage your team's utilization and weekly workflow to ensure projects are delivered on time, budget, and meet client needs
- Grow and develop staff through training and mentorship
- Coordinate labor and equipment resources and hiring needs as workloads require
Essential Job Functions:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer certification required
- Experience in water resources and wastewater or transportation
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS, InfoSWMM, and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with AASHTO, MUTCD, WEG, APWA, and AWWA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suites
- Proven leadership ability to build alliances with leadership, teams, and customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Position Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in using design software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
