- $20-$25/HR to start, depending on qualifications

Purchasing Coordinator - Role and Responsibilities
- Act as a key liaison between different departments and branches regarding purchasing related activities
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers
- Handle goods throughout the purchasing process
- Identify, research, and work to resolve any challenges that arise during the purchasing life cycle
- Keep sales updated of any situations impacting customers’ orders
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors
- Hold suppliers accountable for performance in quality, cost, on time delivery, and support
- Review/approve price discrepancies with vendors and sales, and make any necessary corrections
- Work closely with relevant departments to ensure products purchased are in line with the needs of the company
- Assist management as needed to place orders when necessary to replenish stock to maintain optimal inventory balances
- Develop and maintain a collaborative working environment with sales, warehouse, customer service, and management staff to ensure positive results-oriented outcomes

Requirements
Purchasing Coordinator - Qualifications and Requirements
- Purchasing experience is strongly preferred
- 1 to 3 years of work history in an office setting
- Office work hours are Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:30PM
- Opportunity for some remote work after probationary period evaluation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail (We're talking microscopic level!)
- Good verbal and written communication skills - English required, bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
- Experience with SAP software is a plus
