About you:
- +2 years Experience as a Solar Sales Person, +4 years in Sales.
- Native English Accent, highly proficient written and spoken communication skills.
- Preferably someone who has lived in the US mainland for at least 6 years.
- An A-player that wants to join a team with very ambitious growth goals, willing to tackle projects and learn along the way.
- Someone who wants to stay with a company for many years, and has been with previous employers for more than 2 years on average.
- Comfortable in a scaling environment.
- Does the right thing while nobody is watching.
- Track record of solving problems, putting in the time, and passionate about continuous improvement.
- Humble and willing to spend the first year in the trenches.
Job Responsibilities:
- Customers find us via Google Ads, referrals, or postcard mailers. We generate the very warm leads, you close them.
- This role is about listening to the customer's needs and selling them the appropriate service. The services range from an initial inspection to a Removal and Reinstallation (R&R) of their existing solar system so they can get roof repairs completed.
- You will need to call the homeowner to tell them what we found after an inspection, quote and sell further repair services, and make sure they are happy with the service that we provided.
- You will present roughly 20 calls and quotes per day
- Review and interpret findings & quotes from PM's, call and share update with homeowner, answer technical questions about what is needed, discuss if they want to proceed, follow up with them, collect deposit and signed agreement, notify scheduling
- Keep track of homeowner jobs using excel, up to 300 at a time
- Hit sales target of $2,000,000/year
- When reviewing the quotes, start by conditioning the value of the service, and be ready to overcome price objections using our highlighting why more customers choose us regardless of a difference in price.
- Correctly enter data into our lead tracker and CRM (approx. 30 mins per day)
Requirements:
- +2 years Solar sales experience
- +4 years of professional experience in similar roles
- More than 2 years at most jobs
- History of promotion
- 40 hours per week, on American time zone
- Steady, hardwired internet connection (hardwired from your internet provider, and hardwired from your computer to your router), at least 20mbs upload and download time, ping of less than 10m/s.
- Full time electrical power
- Computer that can handle multitasking on Zoom, Outlook, Excel and video chatting.
- References we can call and confirm work history
Compensation Details:
- Target USD $85,000/year, paid bi-weekly, depending on commissions, base of $36,000 USD/year.
- We use Bill.com for direct payment and we pay the fee. Payment is 1 week after submission of weekly timecard.
- You are required to be an independant contractor, you would be responsible for your own healthcare, taxes, all compliance after you fill out our independant contractor agreement.
- Computer is not provided but is required for this position.
- We will pay 4 US holidays
