Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and technical Application Architect to join our team for a contract duration of 12+ months. This role is based in Palo Alto, CA, and requires a combination of onsite and hybrid work arrangements. As an Application Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and integrating applications within our healthcare-focused projects. You will work closely with the business-facing leader to ensure the application meets business needs while leveraging your deep technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect applications with a focus on healthcare solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
- Integrate various technologies and systems, including EPIC for healthcare management, Snowflake for data warehousing, Python for scripting and automation, Databricks for big data processing, Azure for cloud services, and Workday for human capital management.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide expertise in application architecture, particularly with a focus on healthcare applications, to guide the development and integration process.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in the application design and architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the architecture and integration of applications.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in application architecture and healthcare IT to continually improve the solutions offered to the business.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as an Application Architect, with a strong technical background in designing and integrating complex applications.
- In-depth knowledge of EPIC, Snowflake, Python, Databricks, Azure, and Workday.
- Strong experience in the healthcare industry, with an understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with business leaders and technical teams.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degrees and certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
