Position:   Structure Fitter Welder

Location:  Catoosa, OK

Experience:  One (1) year of structural fitting experience (preferred). Forklift experience is a plus.

Education:  High School Diploma or GED;  Must pass American Welding Society 2g Plate Test / Canadian Welding Bureau certification

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Weekend Shift

Pay: $25/hr

ProRecruiters  is seeking  Structure Fitter Welders  to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble structural forms
• Perform simple mathematics calculations to find part dimensions
• Assemble and disassemble welding tips and their liner, wire feed, and voltage, using arc or gas-shielded arc welding equipment
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
• Transfer or position workpieces manually by using overhead or jib cranes
• Selects grade of abrasive wheel, disk, and die grinder bits according to specifications
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Ability to load trucks manually with lifting equipment
• Ability to work cooperatively with others
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to operate other small machines
