Job description

Are you ready to be at the forefront of revolutionizing energy storage systems for aerospace and transportation? Join Electric Power Systems, Inc. (EPS) in Logan, Utah, as our Configuration Management Manager and take charge of ensuring the integrity of our product configurations while maintaining compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards.

At EPS, we're not just about building batteries; we're about powering upward mobility and shaping the future of mobility technology. As a Configuration Management Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining the integrity of our product configurations, supporting multiple programs, and ensuring adherence to engineering processes and standards.

Your responsibilities will include providing configuration and data management support for various programs, developing plans for implementing configuration and data management requirements, and establishing and maintaining engineering procedures. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for technical data in our Product Life-Cycle Management tool and support program management and engineering staff in utilizing database tools and processes.

In addition to managing data integrity and documentation status, you'll also control access to released and approved data, propose and coordinate changes to enterprise processes and tools, and ensure compliance with configuration management reviews and audits. You'll evaluate and contribute to new business and program proposals, represent the Configuration and Data Management discipline to other business units, and provide direction to peers and cross-functional teams.

To thrive in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred), along with a minimum of seven years of experience in configuration management. Experience with aerospace-related ISO and/or FAA compliant configuration management processes is essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office products and databases for managing technical and engineering data.

Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of experience in a commercial aerospace environment, experience authoring engineering, manufacturing, and quality processes, and familiarity with SAE AS-91000 and EAI-649 standards.

In addition to technical skills, we're looking for a critical thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, who can lead through influence and build strong relationships across teams. You'll need exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints.

Take the next step in your career and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Apply now to be our Configuration Management Manager and help us power the future of mobility.
