About this Position:

The Social Media team is seeking an individual who is passionate about social media and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person will be responsible for executing creative and innovative social media strategies by building communities through customer engagement on social media platforms, creating long-standing relationships with consumers and ultimately, supporting sales via Acura and Honda's social media accounts.

Responsibilities include:

• Content Strategy

o Coordinate and execute the publishing of the organic Acura/Honda editorial calendar, encompassing 200+ pieces of unique content all social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat and other emerging platforms


o Review content and copy to ensure alignment with the brands' communities


o Provide ongoing channel maintenance and creative refreshes of the brands' presence


o Support the identification and vetting of new content creators and influencers to incorporate into programming


o Assist with pulling of analytics as needed for monthly reporting or ad hoc

o Support with coordination of paid social assets under the supervision of the Social Media Specialist


o Assist at events as needed, including some weekend hours for monitoring and 1:1 customer engagement

o Proactively stay up to date on the social media landscape including: platform updates, relevant trends, and the real-time news cycle

• 1:1 Community Management

o Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly and appropriately

o Review and respond to an average of 100 1:1 customer responses a day on vehicle and community related topics, maintaining a response time of less than 1 business hour across 50 communications touchpoints (e.g. DMs, public comments on Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat)

o Source opportunities to proactively engage with new audiences to further promote two way conversation

o Escalate monthly insights on most common outreach and consumer feedback to Social Media Coordinator

Qualifications

Who we are seeking:

We are looking for qualified people and diverse background and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic, to bring the future to Honda.

Required Work Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in social media for a company, preferably a consumer brand

• Expertise in how each social platform works from a brand marketing perspective

• Demonstrated experience writing in the voice of a brand across social platforms

Required Education:

• BA / BS in marketing, communications or related work experience


Desired skills:

• Ability to support a fast paced project team with flexibility and to support needs of project leaders in a functional area

• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and visual) with excellent attention to detail

• Strong problem solving skill

• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

• Ideal candidate will also be fluent in Spanish (written and oral)
