Job description
Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Developer proficient in both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure platforms. As a Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based applications and solutions for our organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging AWS and Azure services.
- Implement scalable and reliable cloud architectures that meet performance, availability, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to understand application requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating the deployment and testing of cloud applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications for performance, cost, and security.
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards across cloud environments.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Document technical designs, procedures, and configurations related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Developer or similar role with hands-on experience in AWS and Azure.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C#.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services offered by AWS and Azure.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automated testing.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Developer and/or Azure Developer Associate certification.
- Experience with serverless computing services such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
- Knowledge of databases and data storage solutions in cloud environments (e.g., Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, DynamoDB).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and ELK stack.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
