Role:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all activities related to the personnel and human resources functions. The main goal is to ensure that the organization's employees are well-trained, motivated, and productive.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Overseeing the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Managing employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and vacation policies.
- Developing and implementing employee performance management systems, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and career development plans.
- Supporting managers in the process of setting performance expectations and disciplining employees when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field
- 3+ years of human resources experience within a law firm is required
- Professional certifications, such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), are preferred
