Principal Responsibilities:

1. Provides medical care to pediatric and adolescent patients.
2. Provides consultation to the nurses and clinical staff.
3. Consults with chief medical officer regarding work performance of nurse practitioners and nurses.
4. Consults training or assist in training of medical students, interns, residents, nurse practitioners and other related health professionals.
5. Coordinates medical care of assigned patients.
6. Consults with other staff physicians and para-medical personnel regarding medical management of patients and quality of medical and diagnostic work performed.
7. Confers with chief medical officer on management issues.
8. Confers on the planning and direction of the pediatric care team.
9. Participates in medical and services utilization audits, peer review and quality assurance activities.

Requirements:

1. Current California Physician License.
2. Current DEA Certificate.
3. Current CPR Certification.
4. Ability to travel from site to site as needed.
5. Experience in working with clients and staff from diverse socio-economic, ethnic, and cultural background.
