Here's what you'll do:
- Champion strong financial practices by overseeing adherence to standards, deadlines, and procedures for planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and transparency in profit and loss statements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Partner with business leaders to analyze opportunities for organic growth and develop winning business plans.
- Foster a collaborative environment by working with colleagues across departments to solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
- Sharpen our competitive edge by implementing innovative financial dashboards and business intelligence platforms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with department heads, providing financial insights and supporting new project initiatives.
- Craft compelling internal management reports and presentations for senior management.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in financial analysis (experience with oil & gas or manufacturing a plus). A Master's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering collaboration and building strong relationships.
- Possesses exceptional analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains a proactive, results-oriented approach.
- Holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or equivalent.
