Project Manager FLSA Classification: Exempt
Reports to: Project Operations Manager

Salary Range: 80,000 - 150K (salary based on experience)
Summary/Objective The project manager works in collaboration with the Project Superintendent and is primarily responsible for coordinating all project specific administrative requirements as defined by the construction contract documents and Syncon, LLC. M ay simultaneously serve as the Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO), DEQ /Sediment Control Supervisor, or Quality Control Manager on assigned projects as needed.

Essential Functions - Coordinate all activities with a project's assigned Superintendent.
- Perform all project start-up activities as described in SYNCON's Training software.
- Organize, understand, and maintain up-to-date contract documents.
- Prepare the project construction schedule in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and required subcontractor input.
- Coordinate the intent and implementation of the final project budget (prepared by SYNCON purchasing department) with the Project Superintendent and the planned field means and methods.
- Issue all subcontracts in accordance with the Notice to Proceed letters prepared by the purchasing department.
- Prepare a master submittal schedule.
- Coordinate a subcontractor preconstruction meeting with the Project Superintendent to review all SYNCON and project specific requirements.
- Schedule and conduct regular owner and subcontractor (coordinate with Superintendent) coordination meetings.
- Receive, review, document, and administrate the resolution to all project specific issues (issues pertaining to legal resolution are to be reviewed with the Vice President and/or President).
- Assist the Project Superintendent in implementation and coordination of SYNCON's on-site quality control and safety procedures.
- Receive, review, and process all subcontractor Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal forms.
- Prepare, distribute, and acquire approval of all Owner Change Order Requests.
- Prepare and distribute all subcontractor Change Orders and associated budget revisions.
- Prepare and distribute the monthly Owner Applications for Payment.
- Maintain all Project specific administrative logs (RFI, FRP, COR, Submittal, and Document Control) in the project management software.
- Perform all project close-out activities as described in the Procedures Manual.

Required Education and Experience - High School Diploma or GED
- Prior Construction Experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Quality Control (QC) Manager, Estimator, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer working for a General Contractor
- Proficient in using Computers and Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Creating and Managing Construction Schedules using Microsoft Project
Preferred Education and Experience - Bachelor’s Degree , Associates Degree, Technical Degree/Certification or Equivalent in a Related Construction Field
- Prior Project Management Experience as a Field Supervisor and/or a Project Manager
- Prior Field Experience working on Construction Projects as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Site Safety Officer, Foreman, or Field Intern
- Prior Construction Experience working on Federal Construction Projects including contracts with NAVFAC and/or the Army Corps of Engineers
- Certified Project Management Professional
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Non-expired CPR/First Aid Certification
- Non-expired Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification
- Experience Using Primavera P6
