Our client is a local multidiciplinary civil engineering firm looking to add a
CADD Technician/CADD Drafter to their family-like team!
Responsibilities: - Utilize AutoCAD and Civil3D for computer-aided design and drafting.
- Demonstrate specific expertise in Civil 3D, including creating permit and construction plans for residential subdivisions and commercial sites.
- Execute tasks such as creating objects, styles, and labels, designing surfaces, working with pipe networks, corridor design, and utilizing plan production tools.
- Employ the ability to grade and balance sites effectively.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Exercise judgment to develop and execute scopes of work under limited supervision.
- Prepare maps, drawings, and topographical data.
- Conduct occasional site visits to assess field conditions, drainage, erosion control needs, and as-built conditions.
Minimum Requirements: - Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D designs for civil engineering projects, including grading, roadway, stormwater, and pipe networks.
- 2+ years of experience using Civil 3D to create permit and construction plans for residential and commercial sites.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
- High School diploma.
Preferred Qualifications: - Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technologies.
