Westwood Professional Services, Inc.   is seeking a Wind Collection Electrical Engineer to join our renewables team. The Electrical Engineer – Wind Collection serves as an engineer on the Balance of Plant (BOP) for on-shore wind farms. He/she will apply NESC, NEC, IEEE and other applicable codes and standards in order to independently produce: electrical collection system layout plans, one-line diagrams, fiber optic single line diagrams, and low and medium voltage electrical construction drawings for typical components including switchgear, generator step-up transformers, junction boxes, direct buried cable, duct banks, and splices. He/she should be familiar with all aspects of three phase medium voltage power distribution engineering and be able to perform typical power systems studies as described below. He/she will be capable of leading a design team which may consist of more junior engineers as well as electrical designers and CAD designers. He/she must also work with other internal and external project stakeholders to ensure project milestones and expectations of contracted services are met. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. 

 

Salary range for this position is $80,000-130,000 annually.
