To help us improve our execution, and continue to grow our business, we’re seeking an experienced director of operations to lead a highly skilled team. As a player/coach, the ideal candidate will have impressive problem-solving skills, vast operational experience, and senior management aspirations in a dynamic setting. The role requires outstanding organizational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions that push boundaries. The director of operations will work closely with executives to implement process improvements and help develop long-term plans that will help scale and usher in new levels of productivity and success for the company. It will help to have an educational background but necessary to apply.

Objectives of this Role:

+ Collaborate with senior managers in the development of strategic plans and KPIs that fuel long-term operational success.

+ Help maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.

+ Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased sales.

+ Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement and growth.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the attainment of goals, progress, and obstacles to key initiatives.

+ Work with key leaders, workforce, and customers to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.

+ Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day operations to achieve operational excellence of timely, efficient, error-free completion of tasks.

+ Devise strategies for ensuring the health of programs, and the growth of programs, and implement process improvements to maximize outcomes and minimize costs.

+ Adhere to the company’s policies and standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.

+ Work closely with Human Resources to ensure we maintain a trusting, inclusive, productive work culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

+ Ten or more years of operational roles showing increased responsibility and leadership in the education field or a related complex environment.

+ Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.

+ Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions, including project management, invoicing, customer service, sales initiatives, and employee management.

+ Proven ability to plan, implement, and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity without sacrificing morale.

+ Strong work ethic and integrity.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or project management

+ Experience in project management, education industry management, or sales management

+ Superior communication skills

+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft teams, Google Forms, Excel as well as worlflow or project management software (ex: Trello, CRM , Monday etc)
