Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services- Atlanta/Buckhead is seeking an experienced PRN (as-needed) Caregiver to join our team in Douglasville, Georgia. As a trusted senior care provider, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our clients. The PRN Caregiver will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with their daily living activities, while promoting their independence, comfort, and safety. This is a part-time position, with the opportunity for flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time, hourly position with a pay rate of $15 per hour. The PRN Caregiver will be paid on a weekly basis. In addition, the right candidate will have the opportunity for growth and career advancement within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to senior clients in their homes
- Assist clients with ADLs (activities of daily living) including grooming, dressing, bathing, and toileting
- Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the assigned RN or case manager
- Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor clients’ diet and hydration
- Foster a safe and comfortable environment for clients, following all health and safety protocols
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Document daily care tasks and any changes in clients’ condition in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the company staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a caregiver in a home care or assisted living setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or HHA certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Physical ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight
