Job Description:

We are on the hunt for a dedicated Inventory Specialist / Warehouse Associate to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in managing our inventory with precision, from ordering materials to ensuring the warehouse is a model of organization. Your efforts will be crucial in upholding the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory processes, directly impacting our success.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Efficiently order materials from both new and existing vendors.

- Accurately manage and document all inventory movements.

- Keep the warehouse and service van stocks replenished.

- Conduct regular physical inventories and cycle counts.

- Lead initiatives in inventory planning, forecasting, and purchasing.

- Aid in refining inventory-related policies, procedures, and systems.

- Process and organize incoming shipments meticulously.

- Compile orders for dispatch, ensuring stock accuracy.

- Uphold customer satisfaction through order precision.

- Inspect deliveries for any damages or defects.

- Comply with all health and safety regulations.

- Engage fully in inventory management tasks.

- Perform consistent inventory counts to pinpoint discrepancies.

- Monitor all shipment activities.

- Work closely with the sourcing team for timely material delivery.

- Support order fulfillment and operations of the distribution center.

- Update inventory records using the warehouse management system.

- Analyze inventory costs and suggest improvements.

- Implement strategies for optimal materials management.

- Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse.

Requirements:

- Minimum age of 21 years.

- At least 3 years of experience in inventory and warehouse management.

- Knowledge in electrical, plumbing, and technical products.

- Proficient in forklift operation.

- Ability to thrive in a stock room setting.

- Must clear a background check.

- Capable of lifting 80 lbs.

- Proficiency in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).

- Strong analytical and mathematical prowess.

- Expertise in inventory management software, Excel, and computer operations.

- Effective communication skills for interactions with vendors, management, and technicians.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
