Job description
Protect our organization's information assets and infrastructure from cyber threats as an IT Security Analyst. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security controls to mitigate risks. Your expertise in cybersecurity best practices and technologies will be essential in safeguarding our systems and data. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events and incidents to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.
- Implement security controls and measures to protect against cyber threats, such as malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
- Provide security awareness training and education to employees to promote a culture of security.
- Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and emerging threats to continuously improve security posture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT security, with expertise in security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
