Job description

THE POSITION

Are you passionate about protecting public health? The Department of Health (DOH), Bureau of Epidemiology, is in need of an epidemiologist to lead the Healthcare-Associated Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (HAIP), and to provide consultative, scientific, and technical expertise in the supervision of the analysis and interpretation of epidemiologic data to prevent and control healthcare-associated infections. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will supervise and manage a multidisciplinary team comprised of epidemiologist supervisors, epidemiologists, epidemiology research associates, infection preventionists, nursing consultants, data analysts, program and project managers, and ancillary staff working within the HAIP Division who carry out investigations related to healthcare-associated infections.
