Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst/Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with project stakeholders to define data streams reduction objectives and success criteria, analyze existing data streams, and design strategies for reducing the data rate while ensuring data integrity. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and success criteria for data reduction.
- Analyze data streams to understand data structures, formats, and characteristics.
- Design and execute strategies for data reduction, ensuring data integrity during the process.
- Address compatibility issues and transform data formats as necessary for data reduction.
- Assess and optimize existing data processing pipelines and develop equivalent pipelines in the modified environment.
- Conduct thorough testing of both data reduction and the modified data processing pipelines to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during the data reduction process.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for changes made to the data processing environment.
- Conduct training sessions for different teams to ensure effective use of the new systems.
- Provide ongoing support and knowledge sharing during and after the transition period.
- Monitor the new systems and pipelines post-optimization for performance and further optimization opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates and responding to feedback.
- Prepare and deliver reports on data reduction progress, challenges, and successes.
Skills: Data analysis
Additional Skills & Qualifications: Familiarity with data reduction techniques and strategies. Experience with remote work and collaboration tools.
