AnthroMed Education is expanding our team of Social Workers  who support our students onsite at schools throughout the state of Colorado, and we want you to be a part of our team!

School Snapshot!

Be a part of an established public school district located in the Thornton/North Denver area. This district has a strong focus on students mental health and they are working hard to provide the care needed to instill resilience and growth in their students. They are seeking a Social Worker who enjoys working with students K-8, including general and special education. This position will be full time for the 2023-2024 school year.  

You will be working alongside another mental health provider in the same school as well!

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the development and well-being of students grades K-8.
• Contribute to a healthy safe and caring environment by advocating for student needs and ensuring social, emotional, and academic needs are met.
• Provide individual and small group support to students.
• Support, create, and maintain classroom interventions and behavior support plans.
• Demonstrate knowledge of community resources to provide support to students and families.
• Create, maintain, and support student's Individual Education Plans (IEP).
• Support students goals as outlined in IEP or 504 plans.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Approval to work in schools in CO
• Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
