Advance your career as a  WK Kellogg’s Distribution Centers (KDC) Logistics Manager . This position acts as the escalation point for all customer related issues, both internal and external and is a Hybrid role in the Battle Creek Michigan area. This person can spend up to 50% of their time traveling between distribution centers. This person is responsible for day-to-day operations and performance of our (KDC) to ensure adherence to all WK Kellogg policies, procedures and processes while maintaining focus on established operating metrics, company goals and objectives. As a subject matter expert on all aspects of KDC including cost budgeting and financial performance, service performance, meeting continuous improvement objectives, adherence to the Warehouse Service Agreement, SAP, DLX and Transportation system utilization and processes, this role would support and coach KDC managers on how to execute these functions effectively.

Working Relationships:

• Reports to the Sr. Director, KDC Operations.

• Works closely with 3PL Leaders, Finance, Engineering, and Real Estate team to ensure all aspects of warehouse projects and financial objectives are met. Takes corrective action to get projects and financial misses back on track.

• This role collaborates with Distribution, OTC, IP, Transportation, VAS, WK Kellogg Plants and Co-Packers, Finance, Quality, Remarketing, Product Innovation, Sales, and Real Estate.

1. This person is responsible for managing/supporting projects to consistently ensure:

• High rate of service and performance.
• Accurate financial forecasting.
• Reduced damages and other inventory inaccuracies.
• Flawless execution of Maintenance/CAPEX projects.

1. Manages project execution with distribution center operations directly(3PLs). This includes, but is not limited to:

•  
• Building Maintenance/Real Estate Projects
• CAPEX
• Physical Inventory scheduling and planning
• Policy Change implementation.
• Sourcing Changes
• Footprint Changes

1. Leverage KIWS to ensure peak performance by the internal and external teams responsible for the following KDC metrics:

•  
• Safety – TRIR
• QA Hold Adherence
• Recall management
• Case Fill
• On Time Delivery
• On time loading and unloading
• Financial Accuracy
• Financial Performance
• Productivity and Cost Savings
• Damages
• Inventory Accuracy
• Zone Compliance
• Contract Adherence
• Warehouse of the Year Award system
• AIB Monitoring

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of seven years of supply chain experience, with a minimum of three years of experience in distribution, warehouse operations, procurement, and/or contract management.

• Ability to effectively work with all levels of management over a wide range of departments.

• Previous experience required communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both writing and verbally.

• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications.

• Ability to lead, align, resolve conflict, and work in an ever-changing environment.
