Job description
The Village of Ashwaubenon is accepting applications for a full-time IT/Network Specialist (37.5 hours/week).
Ashwaubenon is a vibrant suburb of Green Bay surrounding historic Lambeau Field. While just under 18,000 residents call it home, this regional hub to shop, work, and play grows to 35,000 or more during the day. While it is a football town at heart, and the Green Bay Packers are an active member of the community, a large regional shopping district, the Resch Center (sports and entertainment arena), the Resch Expo (exposition hall), a performing arts center, a competitive collegiate baseball, and soccer stadium and the Epic Event Center (concert venue), provide loads of entertainment to both locals and tourists year-round.
The position is responsible for maintaining, planning, coordinating, and technical support of the Village's computer end-user devices and data and voice communications network. Their duties include responding to hardware problems, updating system software, and tracking the data and communications used on their network. The IT Department supports and maintains organization-wide telecommunications systems including the wide area network, local area networks, and telephone and voice mail systems. Services include but not limited to: data center management and network security, help desk support, and ongoing support and maintenance for office automation equipment including servers, desktop, laptop, tablets & cellphones. The position reports directly to the Village Network Administrator.
Position Annual Pay Range (2024): $66,383 - $87,591 (Hiring range up to $73,292) - plus an attractive benefits package.
