Build strong client relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholder teams across product management, engineering, marketing and consumer services throughout the feature/product development cycle (from initial stages of development, through launch, to market strategy) on all regulatory, legal and compliance issues impacting PlayStation consoles and feature offerings. Understand and stay up-to-date on U.S. and international laws and regulations related to consumer product design and gaming systems: advising clients on issues related to consumer protection, product safety, digital/internet law, online systems and marketplaces, privacy, gaming and the app economy. Engage early and often with product teams to review and advise on ongoing feature and product development, including software and hardware functionality, and UX design.
