Role Overview:

As a VP, Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing new commercial loan accounts and nurturing existing client relationships to foster business growth. Your proactive approach will be crucial in delivering financial solutions that meet the needs of both current and prospective clients. You will be instrumental in expanding our deposit base through innovative products, forging robust business relationships, performing credit assessments, and ensuring customer satisfaction within regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage actively with the business community, establishing relationships with business owners, C-level executives, and Centers of Influence (COIs) to generate new opportunities.
Maintain a strategic list of at least 15 targeted prospects, executing plans to meet and exceed individual and team sales goals across our diverse business lines.
Manage commercial relationships by conducting interviews, gathering crucial financial data, and performing credit risk assessments.
Approve loans within your authority while adhering to our policies and procedures, and recommend or escalate exceptional cases as needed.
Monitor loans to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, assist senior officers with complex credits, and stay informed about market conditions and competitor activities.
Enhance your knowledge of commercial products to facilitate cross-selling, improve client experiences, and support financial statement analysis.
Qualifications:

Proven expertise in commercial credit underwriting, business development, and portfolio management, particularly with mid-sized developers and investors.
A minimum of 5-7 years in Commercial Lending.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong ability to work within a team, develop and retain client relationships.
Demonstrated capability to independently drive initiatives, coupled with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail, analytical prowess, and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with familiarity with banking-specific software such as Bankway, Salesforce, Google Mail, and LinkedIn.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business.
Relevant commercial banking experience of five to seven years.
