Job description
Phlebotomist needed for a contract position in Concord, Mass.
Patient intake information
Drawing their blood
Labeling the tubes
Preparing specimens for send out
One year experience drawing all ages
A Phlebotomy certificate from an accredited program
Covid vaccine, booster and Flu vaccine required.
Perform blood draws and other laboratory tests according to physician's orders
- Assemble and maintain all necessary equipment and supplies for blood draws
- Accurately label and process specimens for testing
- Ensure patient's comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA regulations
- Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and materials
- Follow proper safety protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
- Document and maintain records of all tests performed
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in phlebotomy techniques
