Position Summary:
The Department of Linguistics at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey – New Brunswick invites applications for a full-time, one-year, non-tenure track (nonrenewable) position as a Lecturer in Linguistics with a specialization in Semantics. Duties consist primarily of teaching at the undergraduate level. This is a 3-3 teaching load position; the successful candidate will teach three courses each semester in Semantics and Pragmatics. Applicants should be aware that visa support will not be offered for this position.
Minimum Education and Experience:
The candidate must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. in Linguistics, preferably with a dissertation specializing in Semantics or related subfield by August 31, 2024.
