Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Transactional Specialist to join the Global Shared Services team. As a Transactional Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various transactional processes within the organization. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Investigate and analyze transactional discrepancies, errors and issues reported by internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for working inquiries that are assigned to them with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve transactional issues in a timely manner.
- Clearly communicate with relevant parties to provide updates on the status of troubleshooting efforts and coordinate resolution actions.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during all transactional activities.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient solutions to streamline transactional workflows.
- Identify root causes of transactional problems and assist in developing effective solutions (if not already developed)
- Work on special projects, as assigned.
Skills Required
- Proven experience in transactional roles (i.e., purchasing or invoice processing)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment and grasp new concepts quickly.
- Ability to effectively navigate unknown territories, independently find solutions and prioritize effectively.
- Effectively utilize available resources to solve problems.
- NICE TO HAVE: Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including SMART by GEP, Jira Service Management, S4
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
