BAKER/CASHIER for the CINNABON Cafe in the Charleston International Airport.

The Baker/Cashier

The Baker is responsible for keeping hot, fresh products in the bakery. Tasks may include, preparing lunch menu items i.e. (burger bites and panini sandwiches). proofing, baking, and CinnaPack assembly. In high-volume locations or during peak volume, this position may sometimes be divided into 2 roles: one person is rolling (roller) and the other is managing the ovens, as well as the role of a cashier when needed.

Position Standards

• Have the product available (always) and within its shelf life following the PACE system.
• Follow recipes to our standard to ensure every product served to our Guests is high quality every time.
• Maintains a clean workstation during a shift by following a "clean-as-you-go" philosophy.
• Wash hands with soap frequently. This is critical when you change workstations after cleaning tables, or emptying garbage.

Side Duties

Side duties are tasks that a Baker completes when there is no rolling to be done. These tasks may vary and should never come before serving our Guests!

• Assist as a cashier.
• Keep all areas clean
• Stocking supplies for your station - paper and product.
• Stock the condiment area.
• Making more coffee, Mochalatta Chill, etc.
• Making Frosting Cups.
• Clean the dining room (if applicable) and empty the trash.
• Fill CannaPack racks.
• Prepping and stocking products (e.g. Caramel Frosting, Caramel Smear, Center of the Roll, etc.)

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Some baking experience
