Job description

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for managing the construction process on multiple, large multifamily projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in overseeing construction projects from start to finish and will possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire multifamily construction process.

• Position Overview: The Senior Superintendent of Multifamily Construction will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire construction process from start to finish on multiple, large multifamily projects. This role will involve managing the timeline, budget, and quality control of construction projects, and providing direction and support to the on-site teams.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the construction process on multiple multifamily projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all work complies with local building codes and is executed in a safe and timely manner.
  • Work with the design team to ensure the successful execution of plans.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure the completion of projects on time and on budget.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that all timelines are met.
• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in multifamily construction, including podium, apartments, and/or units.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing large and complex commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of the construction process, from planning to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
