Job description
Nesco Resource is seeking a Short-Term Data Center/Office Asset and Inventory Analysis Technician to assist us with a Office Site Survey with regard to what hardware is there.
Techs will be given a 4-hour min and will be paid for all hours logged in onsite.
Overview: We're seeking a Hardware Office Site Survey Technician to support our IT infrastructure planning and deployment efforts. This role involves conducting on-site surveys to assess hardware requirements, ensuring optimal setup and configuration for office environments.
Responsibilities: - Conduct on-site surveys to assess hardware needs for office spaces, including computers, printers, networking equipment, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with IT teams to gather requirements and specifications for hardware deployment.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and propose recommendations for hardware upgrades or replacements.
- Document survey findings, including equipment specifications, layout diagrams, and inventory lists.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary hardware and peripherals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards during hardware deployment.
- Provide technical assistance and support during hardware installation and setup as needed.
