Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual interested in learning about the Public Adjuster industry. As a Public Adjuster Apprentice, you will undergo a 2-week training period to prepare for and pass the required licensing test. You will work alongside experienced Public Adjusters, assisting homeowners with their claims and home improvement needs. Our goal is to build a nationwide team of dedicated professionals who are committed to helping homeowners navigate the claims process and improve their lives.
Key Responsibilities: - Study and pass the Public Adjuster licensing test within 2 weeks of starting.
- Shadow senior public adjusters to learn about the industry.
- Assist in canvassing and acquiring qualified clients for free home evaluations.
- Meet weekly goals set by the canvassing manager.
- Attend daily or weekly training meetings.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
- Adapt to the evolving industry and regulations.
- Develop sales and customer service skills.
- Ensure clients' satisfaction by maximizing their projects.
- Adhere to all laws and company policies.
- Stay updated on new regulations and industry trends.
Competencies: - Bilingual speaker is a plus.
- Experience in all stages of acquisition.
- Prior customer service and sales experience.
- Knowledge of acquisition support.
- Professionalism and composure under stressful situations.
Education & Experience: - GED or High School Diploma required for future licensing.
- Prior customer service and sales experience preferred.
- Experience in homeowners' claims and the construction industry is a plus.
Physical Requirements: - Ability to walk on roofs.
- Walking for the majority of the work shift.
- Carrying materials needed for job duties.
- Tolerance to heat as the job is primarily outside.
- Professional phone communication with clients.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
Success Factors: - Determination to learn and succeed.
- Fast learner.
- Sales experience.
- Comfortable with canvassing.
- Getting licensed
License/Certification: - 620 license property & casualty, if you do not have it you will have 2 weeks with pay to study for it and you must pass.
