General Summary:

Hooper is actively seeking interns for specialized roles in Construction Project Management, Construction Design, Safety, Accounting, and IT. As an intern, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, contributing to the diverse aspects of the construction industry. This opportunity allows you to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios, expand your professional network, and earn while developing your skills in specific areas of construction.

Internship Opportunities:

Construction Project Manager Interns: Collaborate with Project Managers in tasks such as estimating, material procurement, and overall project management.

Construction Design Interns: Engage in construction design activities, including the creation of product shop drawings and other design-related tasks.

Safety Interns: Learn and implement safety standards and practices, contributing to a secure work environment.

Accounting Interns: Assist in financial aspects of projects and contributing to accounting processes within the construction context.

IT Interns: Work on IT-related tasks applicable to the construction industry, gaining hands-on experience with equipment set up in this specialized field.

Internship Highlights:

Gain practical experience in your chosen area of specialization within the construction sector.

Contribute to projects while learning key skills in Construction Project Management, Construction Design, Safety, Accounting, or IT.

Work closely with experienced professionals and be an essential part of project teams.

About You:

Pursuing a degree related to the specific internship role (e.g., Engineering, Project Management, IT, etc.).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a passion for your chosen field.

Previous knowledge or exposure to the construction industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.

Proficient in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Suite, AutoCAD) as required for each internship.

Available for full-time work (40 hours per week) during the summer.

Willingness to travel to jobsites and engage in fieldwork, as necessary.
