DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

At RTS Tactical, we take a meticulous approach to design, engineer, and produce only the finest body armor and tactical gear. Our products are designed and manufactured using state-of-the-art materials and technologies - setting a standard for functionality, durability, and reliability.
The industry is constantly advancing to better, lighter, and more reliable protection. Our Design and Development Department aims to lead the forward development and integration of emerging technologies.
In light of our recent successes, RTS Tactical is expanding and we are seeking a highly motivated, adaptable, and versatile Director of Marketing to join our team!
Who We Are Looking For The Director of Marketing will join our enthusiastic and thriving Marketing Department.
RTS Tactical has an amazing web presence, recognizable brand, great reputation, top-notch customer reviews, and highly-trained customer service. We are looking for a Director of Marketing who can exponentially boost what we already have and more!
We are looking for someone with extensive marketing experience who is proficient in day-to-day marketing operations and long-term strategizing. Experience in Military, Law Enforcement, or the Defense Industry is a strong preference. However, enthusiasm and the willingness to learn the industry speaks volumes!
Job Responsibilities - Develop strategic marketing plans with targeted objectives across different channels and segments based on verifiable data.
- Lead the execution of tailored marketing campaigns from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
- Build successful marketing strategies by analyzing customer insights and trends in the industry.
- Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives through tracking and analysis, and strategize accordingly.
- Guide creative direction for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
- Collaborate with our developers to maintain and update our website.
- Research and formulate ways to optimize user experience.
- Identify and reach out to potential affiliates.
- Manage current influencer relationships.
- Maintain a working knowledge of best practices in marketing.
- Participate in weekly company meetings and relentlessly follow up with team members for project success.
- Cooperate with other departments, including Operations, Manufacturing, Sales, and Design.
- Provide weekly updates to the CEO.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or any related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- 3+ years of experience in utilizing Shopify.
- 4+ years of experience in web development or digital management.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, UX or Adobe.
- Expertise in managing paid ads on different platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Bing, and TikTok.
- Competence in email marketing.
- Proficiency in social media management
- Proven track record in content creation.
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing.
- Skill in copywriter management.
- Knowledge of photo and video Shoots.
- Organization skills for proper maintenance of files.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to comfortably work in an environment that involves firearms.
- Must pass a background check.

Pay Range:
$70k - $110k
