Job description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is urgently hiring a Inspector/Packers for our Devens area client, a leading medical device contract manufacturer. This role is on an 8:00am - 8:00pm rotating schedule. For immediate consideration, apply today.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Set up equipment (i.e. tables, scales, fixtures, etc.) to meet daily production needs.
• Ensure work area meets 6S guidelines.
• Follow daily planning schedules.
• Responsible for all visual inspection of production for defects using history cards, control plans, and visual aids.
• Regular attendance and professionalism.

OTHER POSITION DUTIES :

• Verify all lot numbers, work orders, and labels for accuracy.
• Notify Cell Lead or Shift Supervisor when problems interrupt work flow and output.
• Notify the Cell Lead or QC when a defect is found.
• Verify that equipment is operating properly. Notify Cell Lead or Shift Supervisor when it is not.
• Abide by all applicable clean room procedures and guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety practices.
• Use basic measuring equipment as needed to ensure parts meet basic specifications.
• Participate and support lean activities.
• Inform Cell Lead after inspected pallet is complete to be processed in IQMS.
• Responsible for making boxes as parts are produced.
• Ensure line clearances are completed including documentation, labels, parts, etc. Properly package and label product per DMR instruction and associated procedures.
• Follow standard work and cGMP guidelines.
• Participate in LEAN and Continuous Improvement events. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• The ability to read, write, speak, and understands English.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment and independently is essential.
• Good written, verbal, and presentation skills.
