We are looking for the right person to help ensure we are properly leveraging our continued commitment to technology. Currently, all IT functions and support are provided by an outside vendor. As our needs have changed, we are looking for the right person to lead our efforts, provide our employees with a positive experience and truly shape the way we use technology with APC.

Immediate Duties:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals

• Set up and maintain user accounts and email addresses

• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches

• Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely resolution to user issues

• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement IT solutions

• Document technical procedures and create user guides

• Oversee IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations

• Troubleshoot issues amp; become subject matter expert for Infor Visual, the ERP system used at Alloy Products

Mid to Long Term Duties:

• Remedy issues within the Visual ERP system amp; train users on additional functions

• Develop procedures amp; guides to make individuals more self sufficient

• Create and Administer Network Needs Assessment

• Train Users on Latest Features amp; Functionality within the Microsoft suite

• Proactive / Preventive Maintenance

• Forecast Department Budget

• Develop a Company Wide technology budget

• Partner with Plant Engineer to assess tech and make improvement suggestions

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in a related field of study, or a comparable combination of schooling and professional experience.

• 1 to 4 years of IT systems experience

• Expertise with Microsoft operating systems and applications is required.

• Working knowledge of computer networking including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Active Directory, and other networking fundamentals is required.

• Strong understanding of computer hardware, mobile technologies, and peripherals is required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills an absolute requirement; must be able to work with various personalities and skillsets.

• Manufacturing experience preferred; CAD and Auto-CAD experience preferred

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while applying appropriate prioritization.

• Ability to read, write and speak English.

• Authorized to work in the United States.
