Job description
Requires a Bachelors or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.] Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Seeking a Component Engineer Support Specialist with working knowledge of Electrical and Electronic components, as well as some basic knowledge of mechanical components and materials. Participate in design development teams including part selection. Candidate will need to be an independent self-starter with an attention to detail and possess strong communications skills as well as the ability to concurrently manage multiple tasks and problems centered around parts and material issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
