Job description
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Responsible for implementing Control design and requirements for the purpose of testing electrical, thermal and mechanical systems.
- Ensure that test controls function as intended and will have the ability to troubleshoot and maintain the test systems.
- Provide expertise and knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC hardware and firmware and National Instruments LabView.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience with Control design or test
- Experience with programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs
- Knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW software
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Associate's degree in Science, Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science or HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience in Control Design
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Altium Designer
- Experience with using the Agile framework and the sprint/scrum approach to project management
- Knowledge of best design practices for both R&D and production
- Industrial Instrumentation Certification from NJATC or NICET
