Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Direct to Consumer Sales and Hospitality to join the Argyle Winery hospitality team! Reporting to the VP of  Direct to Consumer Sales and Hospitality, this role is responsible for growing the Argyle Winery brand and business by leading the DtC team and by partnering with key stakeholders internally and externally. This role will also be responsible for ensuring the success across channels by building trust and lasting engagement among our team members and our customers at the heart of what we do. The work schedule Monday - Friday, requesting the incumbent work 40-50+ hours per week onsite, as a FT salary, exempt position that is eligible for achievement bonus, as well as our outstanding benefits package!

Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership experience, managing diverse teams
- 10+ years of hospitality and sales experience required
- P&L management, annual planning and budgeting
- Hospitality, retail sales, wine industry experience preferred
- Experience in direct to consumer channels
- Project Management
- College degree required; preferably in business related discipline
- Developing and managing Capex Projects
- Understanding of laws that pertain to the DTC.
- Hospitality principles and mechanics of direct sales channels, (e-commerce, tasting room and wine club)
- Principles of Consumer Journeys and Direct Sales Programs (ie Commerce 7, Mail Chimp, etc)
- Team leadership and organizational skills with proven ability to set, prioritize and manage a strategic agenda
- Proven communication skills; including verbal, written and presentation
- Skilled at collaboration and achieving through partnership
- Facile with P&L management, building budgets, measuring results
- Strategic thinker, thought leader with innate curiosity to learn
- Ability to build team engagement, empower others and coach teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create and deliver annual and long-range P&L for Direct to Consumer Channel (25%)
- Lead and deliver Argyle’s strategic DTC plans (25%)
- Guide and support customer and consumer engagement programs (10%)
- Partner with Operations teams in Winemaking,Viticulture, and Brand Team (20%)
- Lead , inspire and grow capability in DTC team (20%)
