Job description

The Contract Finance Manager will manage a team of people who support the finances around a Contract Sale at Singer Equipment. This position will be responsible for the successful processing of an order from establishing credit terms through collected AR.

Manage the Credit and Finance Department Administrators and Cost Accountants.

This includes:
· Approving Timecards, PTO, and Overtime.
· Annual employee reviews.
· Employee workload.
· Set up new jobs in our system with accurate billing and payment term information.
· Ensure sales team provides all pertinent paperwork for job set up including but not limited to
tax exempt forms, signed quotes, and customer PO’s.
· Ensure all tax was accurately presented to the customer (if applicable). Work with sales team to reconcile when there is a tax discrepancy.
· Manage deposit invoice collection and be the liaison between Sales Teams and the Purchasing department for sending orders to vendors.
· Monitor all transactions for Contract jobs. This includes original orders and any added Change Orders and Expenses. This includes updating or reducing the credit limit in the company software when applicable.
· Oversee reporting on any orders where our costs exceed our billings and communicate with the Sales Teams and Customers to collect money.
· Partner with Credit & Finance Department Administrator and Sales Team members for accurate billing schedule to ensure items shipped to customers are being invoiced in a timely manner.
· Responsible for complete oversite of Contract jobs with Prepay terms meaning, items that are not paid for cannot leave our warehouse without payment.
· Manage Cost Accounting for assigned Sales Teams by keeping an updated Contract Schedule, up to date job costing and close out.
· Partner with Senior Contract Collections Manager for any outstanding AR.
· Work effectively and professionally with the entire Singer team.

Education: BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience

Competencies: Strong organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills.

Other Requirements: Advance computer skills in Excel and other Microsoft office programs
